You also can't connect between a real 3DS and Citra. In general, Citra's audio is pretty bad compared to an actual 3DS. So what else doesn't work on Citra compared to a regular 3DS? However, the unofficial builds do not wait for the audio to arrive which is why the dialogue doesn't freeze making the game playable, however the audio like the voiced over lines won't work. It is believed that audio is not generated by the emulator and the game waits for it to arrive which leads to freezing in the official builds. The reason for this is that Echoes has the same problem as Pokemon X and Y, as in there is believed to be an issue with the DSP (which is how the 3DS generates sound).

However across all official versions of Citra (aka Canary, Nightly), Echoes does not work. The Citra official compatibility guide is REALLY confusing, what works and what doesn't?Ĭurrently all of the main line games aka Awakening, Fates and Echoes have been tested to work (with caveats). gba file on an EZ4 flashcart but it says I don't have enough SRAM and didn't load the game at all.

Any videos on youtube is LP's on pc emulators. I think 3 people mentioned this problem and went completely ignored. The original forum post for Mega moemon has 43 pages. Except with the emulator I also get a low distorted sound beep. Does anyone know of what could be the problem? Has anyone tried it with success? How about with a GBA emulator running on the 3DS?ĮDIT: I got mGBA emulator on the 3DS same problem the game goes to a blackscreen when prof Oak is supposed to show up. I figure maybe its loading because its such a huge patch. If I tap on the bottom screen of the 3DS I get the GBA Virtual Console stuff like any other GBA game would. The game starts up fine enough but when Prof Oak is supposed to appear the game just goes to a black screen. And now I'm having the same problem I originally had.

So I find the original patch for it and do all the stuff. Looked around a bit more and stumbled upon someone posting a. I found a patched version of the game already converted it to.

While I would love to make it an offline alternative to the eShop with the only games being eShop exclusives, with the current resources I have (slow internet, small cloud storage, low funds) it may not be feasible if ever. It is by no means a replacement for freeShop, qreeShop, or any other ROM sharing platform. NoShop's goal is to preserve files that normally requires access to the eShop/internet. With my prediction coming true, I went ahead and uploaded all the files I could find. Many people tried to request the files, but the OP was inactive for months with no sign of ever coming back. Pretty soon more links started to becom offline, until eventually they all were before I was able to get them all.

I didn't think much of it, until I realized that some of the files were indeed missing, in that moment I said "screw it, why not just download them all instead?" Using my very limited knowledge about datahoarding, I began downloading as many as I could. However, a thought drifted across my mind, "What will happen if these files get taken down?". So there I was, clicking on each link like a fool copying the download link and pasting it to text file with the game it's associated with.

I was so glad to find this thread that I thought that I may never need to update again, however I was annoyed at how they used ad-link shortners for each of the files, so I decided to expanded each of the links so I could have a master list for myself in the future and maybe even share it to others. Luckily, it turns out that updates could be manually installed, so I turned over to everybody's favorite site, 3DSISO, and found a thread that claimed to have EVERY update dumped and ready to download. About a year ago, I needed to update some games on my 3DS, however due to unique circumstances I was unable to connect my 3DS to the internet.
